As part of my study at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) I spent one semester in Uganda. During my stay I was some time in the capital, Kampala, and some in Lake Mburo National Park. I got to see a lot of the good sides of the African life. Like the always smiling Ugandans and the beautiful nature. But I also experienced some of the downsides; corruption, poverty, riots and killings. In this gallery I have collected some of the 3 gigs with pictures I brought back home.

ukraine

In 2004 there was a presidential election in Ukraine. You probably remember it as "the orange revolution". Thousands of Ukrainians gathered in the streets to protest against the ruling regime in the country. I was so fortunate that I got the chance to travel to Ukraine as an election observer for ESIB, the umbrella organization for all the European student unions. After the elections I went to Southwest-Ukraine to see my good friend Andriy. He is a Ukrainian, but is currently living I Norway.
